    Unofficial accounts estimate around 50,000 children of refugees and migrants live in the Moscow region. The ‘Kids are kids’ NGO provides assistance and language courses to help them integrate.

    In Russia the majority of the children of refugees and migrants are excluded from the school system. Russian schools do not conduct lessons in Russian as a foreign language, teachers do not have effective teaching methods
